In an effort to provide safe recreational venues for children, SkateMS Foundation approached The Community Foundation of Greater Jackson about starting a SkateMS fund. Charitable contributions to the fund would support the group’s efforts to plan, design and construct concrete public skate parks in central Mississippi.

Frank Henn and Austin Cannon are turning their passion into a purpose. They want to give the tri-county area the gift of spaces for children to be outside, exercise, and enjoy the growing sport of skateboarding. Their organization, the SkateMS Foundation, opened a fund here at CFGJ in order to raise money to build concrete public skate parks in the area.
