Over the Thanksgiving holiday Will and I headed to Houston, TX for their annual Turkey Jam contest at the EZ-7 ditch.  Go if you haven’t already.

We made a few stops between here and there.  First stop was Hammond, LA.

Second stop was Baton Rouge’s new park.  Its lit and open until 10 on weekdays and midnight on weekends.

We finally arrived in Houston around midnight.  Got up the next morning to a wet cold skatepark.  So we hit up Carve skateshop for a couple hours until the sweet crete dried.

The park is downtown and has more stuff than you wanna skate.

The following pictures are all Turkey jam.  Enjoy!

We hit the ditch up one more time before we kicked on outta Houston.

Hit Lafayette’s bowl on the way home.  Not before stopping at the best stop in Scott, LA for some boudin, cajun stuffed pork chops, and alligator patties.  Its the best stop for a reason.

We did hit Baton Rouge on the way home too.  I think we each took one run and couldn’t stand up anymore.

I am thankful for the times I get to spend time with skateboards, friends, and family.
